Unfinished Projects: The Ylladian Conflict

This concepts were part of a comic book project i was writting and doing the conceptual work back in 2001/2003. Unfortunatelly i never finished it due to some lack of motivation back in those days . The background of this story was settled up in a sci fi atmosphere . A Great war ravaged the Region of Ylladas , a continent of the planet Akh . The Ylladian conflict was basically a full scale urban guerrilla between two factions , the followers of the Great King Marmaduke , and the Neo Technologica Conclave , once the high tech branch of King Marmaduke empire. Its not a post apocalitpic Terran future but a conflict in a fictional planet that is still not immersed in war. I Would say that there is no good or evil factions in this story , but only a plot of politics and deceit that takes place in the Ylladian region . King Marmaduke is dead , and his Son , Apopheus is the current leader . The Technologica Conclave , is the principal antagonist here because it never recognized Apopheus as the regions leader , and since Apopheus is a follower of the old ways , he tried to dismantle the Technologica Conclave for the best of the planet . The technologica conclave was considered a danger to the eyes of the world since due to the side effects of the way they operated caused to the world ( you know , pollution , resources , etc ) This faction is rulled by former Industry and manufacturers regents , and they have the upper hand at this moment. Their army is constituted by cyborgs and heavy machinery of all kind , . The Old ways is basically a Religious following kind of cult , strongly based in ancient monarquical rules and ways of knighthood, before the conflict started this faction has to rely in outside help in what comes to supplies and weapons . The Old Ways is constituted by all the former commercial and clerical guild leaders that in some ways joined Apopheus struggle, but are they all helping out?
The Concepts shown here are : a Hatekorps Elite trooper , a Ars Technologica Heavy weapons drone , a Merauder tactical APC and merauder Scout.

I defenitely had to put this one in here . This logo , makes part of one of the best things i had in my life , more than a clan , a family , SOD CLAN . this work makes part of a complete image trademark for the Stormtroopers of Death Multigaming clan back in the late 90's. completely made in photoshop from a lousy scanned sketch.

This one was done long time ago , i believe its a 7 year old picture that i had stored in my HD . I must thank to my friend Hugo who took the time to compile most of my old stuff in a DVD . Most of that old stuff will be showcased in this blog . Now about this fellow here ... Just a random cyborg , really , like the colours and background , the pose isnt the best in the world and it bears some anatomical errors , for example , the left arm seems a little disporportional with the other , since hes in a perspective pose. Anyway i leave this one here for you. C&C is allways wellcome.

WH40k : Courage

This image is a study for a painting that might come to life in the near future . It was a quick Pilot pen drawing at work , shading is not the best , composition not the happiest , but somehow i kinda like the presence of the main character . His face kinda depicts the commitment and honour a space marine gives to his Emperor in battle against the enemies of mankind.
